About the Role
As a Project Controls Specialist at Extrosync, you will play a critical role in helping clients maintain control over cost, schedule, and risk across complex initiatives. You will work closely with project managers, program leads, and stakeholders to build clear, data-driven project control systems that support better decision-making and measurable performance. This role is ideal for professionals who are detail-oriented, analytical, and passionate about translating data into operational clarity.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and progress tracking tools
Analyze performance metrics, identify trends, and flag variances or risks
Support earned value analysis, forecasting, and baseline control
Collaborate with internal and client-side teams to align cost and schedule integration
Build dashboards and reporting tools to support project visibility and governance
Contribute to the development of project control frameworks and best practices
Requirements
3–5 years of experience in project controls, cost/schedule management, or PMO support
Strong understanding of project planning, budgeting, and forecasting principles
Proficiency in tools like MS Project, Primavera, Excel, and reporting platforms
Experience supporting multidisciplinary projects or programs
Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences
Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business, or a related field
Nice to Have
Familiarity with earned value management (EVM) or portfolio-level control
Experience working in infrastructure, construction, or systems implementation
Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or dashboard design
Exposure to risk management frameworks or integrated master schedules
