About the Role
As a Cost Consultant at Extrosync Dubai, you will support clients in managing capital investments with clarity, discipline, and precision. You’ll provide cost planning, estimating, and financial oversight throughout the project lifecycle — from feasibility to final account. This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in data-driven environments and bring a proactive mindset to cost control in dynamic, fast-paced projects.
Responsibilities
Prepare cost estimates and budgets across design and execution phases
Monitor project costs, assess variations, and update forecasts
Support procurement by evaluating tender returns and contract pricing
Manage cost reporting and provide financial dashboards for client review
Contribute to value engineering and cost optimization workshops
Prepare cash flow projections and track actuals against budgets
Assist in final account preparation and commercial closeout
Requirements
3–5 years of experience in cost consultancy, quantity surveying, or commercial project support
Strong command of cost planning and financial management in construction or infrastructure projects
Proficiency in Excel, cost software (e.g., Candy, CostX, or similar), and reporting tools
Familiarity with contract types (FIDIC, lump sum, remeasure, etc.) and procurement models
Ability to communicate cost insights clearly to clients and stakeholders
Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or related field
Nice to Have
Experience working on projects in the UAE or GCC
RICS accreditation (or progress toward it)
Exposure to both pre- and post-contract cost management
Knowledge of BIM and digital take-off methods
